Talentspoc is urgently seeking a radiologist consultant to join our medical team in Oman. This exciting opportunity calls for a highly skilled radiologist to provide expert diagnostic imaging services, contributing directly to patient diagnosis and treatment. The role demands prompt and accurate interpretation of imaging studies and effective collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and specialists to provide accurate radiological diagnoses.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team discussions to guide patient management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of imaging results.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in imaging procedures.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and stay updated with technological advances in radiology.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of an accredited radiology residency program.
- Board certification in radiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Oman or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven clinical experience as a radiologist consultant; prior experience in Oman or the Gulf region is an advantage.
- Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
